HQ-LABEL - HIYGIENE QUALITY LABEL
The HQ Label is a quality certification in the field of hygiene.
It was established in collaboration with professional associations and the Federal Office of Public Health (BAG).
This gives customers a clear mark of quality. Studios with this label operate according to the "Guidelines for Good Practice" developed by the BAG, adhering to the fundamental requirements for carrying out their work.
To obtain the HQ Label, a studio must
- Completed the hygiene prevention course and job-specific first aid.
- A hygiene inspection must also be carried out according to the "Guidelines for Good Practice."

Self-employed practitioners who worked in this profession before the EDI ordinance came into effect (January 1, 2006) must provide proof of at least 5 years of professional experience.

Self-employed practitioners who started after the EDI ordinance came into effect must have completed appropriate training as a cosmetician EFZ, FA, HFP, or cosmetician with a diploma from the Fachschule XY.

Attendance of the job-specific hygiene course, including first aid (job-specific).
After completing the prevention course and job-specific first aid course, as well as a hygiene inspection, the owner can submit a written application with a copy of the inspection report to our professional association. Once all requirements have been positively verified, the HQ Label will be awarded to the owner for their studio/business. The certification is reviewed annually.
