Medical Permanent Make-Up

The emotional burden after surgery or a scar from an injury can be immense and can deeply affect one’s self-esteem. In recent years, our field has seen significant progress. What began as cosmetic pigmentation has evolved into medical pigmentation.

Thanks to today’s “skin-friendly” pigments, we are receiving increasing support from doctors. While modern medicine is capable of achieving remarkable results, scars—no matter how fine—often remain. That alone is reason enough to strengthen collaboration between doctors, hospitals, and dermapigmentation specialists.

For patients, a barely visible scar can make a world of difference—not just in terms of appearance, which can often be significantly restored, but also for their mental well-being. Joy in life returns, and self-confidence is rebuilt.

How does this scar treatment work?

In most cases, the first step is micropigmentation or microneedling. This treatment is sometimes performed in advance at the doctor’s office. The process helps to soften and smooth the scar, as it stimulates the body’s natural collagen production. However, this step alone is usually not enough.

As dermapigmentation specialists, we use specially formulated skin-tone pigments to carefully match and blend the scar tissue with the surrounding skin. This allows us to make the scar virtually invisible to the eye.

You will often find scar camouflage in the following cases:

  • Operations on the face and visible areas, such as cleft palate or after accidents involving cuts and bite wounds, as well as skin cancer
  • Facelifts, behind and in front of the ears, temples
  • Breast reconstruction
  • Abdominal scars

Let our dermapigmentation specialists advise you. We will explain the procedure and, using photos, show you the expected results.
